Warm Weather Spurs Encouraging Results

The UChicago Men’s and Women’s track teams both performed in the Wheaton Twilight meet. The men finished fifth while the women finished second, promising signs as both prepare the conference championship next weekend.

Spree of Individual Champions at UAA Championships

The men’s and women’s track and field teams competed in the Indoor UAA Championships this weekend at the Armory in New York, NY. The women were edged by Wash U to end up second overall and the men came away with a fourth-place finish.

UAA title run halted by Carnegie Mellon

The women’s soccer team fell to Carnegie Mellon 4–1, ending the squad’s chances of winning the UAA title. The loss followed a 2–0 win over Case Western on Friday in which second-year Kelsey Moore earned both goals for the Maroons.

Squad readies to cement bid to NCAA playoffs

After decisive victories against three ranked opponents, the women’s soccer team will tackle conference foes Case Western and No. 3 Carnegie Mellon this weekend. Two wins could boost the squad into first place of the UAA.

The men’s basketball team is on the cusp of reentering the Top 25 rankings. They will need to defeat NYU and Brandeis this weekend in order to propel them upwards in the last stretch of conference play.
